Photoshop envelope icon tutorial

In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial, you will learn how to make an icon of an envelope, you can use this tutorial to make your own email icon, or what ever you like, I hope you enjoy this Photoshop tutorial.

Start by making a rounded rectangle shape as the one shown below, right click in the layers panel and choose rasterize layer.

Now apply the following layer styles to the shape layer.

Then we need to make a rounded triangle as shown in the image below. What we do is to make a rounded square, then rotate it 90 degrees and cut it in two, place them as shown below.

Apply the same styles to these shapes as to the first shape, then add a small drop shadow to it.

Final adjustments is to use the Edit -> transform tools to put the whole thing in perspective view.
